A New Chapter in Chapel Hill
It’s been such a season of change for our family — new state, new adventures, and a brand-new chapter ahead. After many wonderful years in Iowa City, we’ve made the move to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Sam is staying busy in his new position, Bella just began her college journey, Jude is enjoying a strenuous football season and we’re set to be finishing building our new home at the end of this month— a project that’s both exciting and frustrating.
I’ve loved taking time to explore this beautiful area — the trails, the trees, the light — it’s such a gift to be outdoors here. And while I’m truly enjoying this fresh start, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss my Iowa City community. I had the joy of working with so many thoughtful, engaging, and wonderful clients there — people who made my work deeply rewarding. Last year I helped a client move from North liberty to Durham, North Carolina. We were able to meet for lunch and it was such a wonderful afternoon talking about Iowa.
As I settle in here, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with what I love most: helping people create calm, functional, and beautiful spaces. I can’t wait to meet new clients, network with local professionals, and connect with the amazing women in this community.
Here’s to new beginnings, meaningful connections, and finding home — in more ways than one.
