The Professional Organizers Collective offers a wide range of education options. From Free Foundational Courses for new members to Continuing Education Workshop and Credentialing on a wide variety of topics, there is something for everyone who chooses continued professional growth and has the desire to be a lifelong learner. Prices vary, depending on the amount of continuing education hours included in each learning module.

As it pertains to the Collective, SIP stands for Support In Practice. SIPs are the integration of holistic knowledge into practical applications. Each SIP is equal to one hour of continuing education. The intention of SIPs, is not to have members memorize and regurgitate statistics, but to dedicate time to studying subjects of interest, and that will help our members be better service providers for the clients we assist. There are many levels to what we do. It’s not only the physical aspect of moving items from here to there, but also the matter of how to emotionally and in some regards spiritually assist the client with the things that weigh on them. The Collective supports personal and professional growth. We want you to learn and grow on your terms. We want to reward you for that dedication, and we hope that the knowledge that is gained may integrate into the whole, and that we can then share that wisdom with each other. SIP hours may be earned a few different ways, with Badges rewarded upon completion. The first option is that Organizers are encouraged to take advantage of our in-house workshop offerings, which vary in hours depending on the subject matter, content, pre-course work, homework and/or follow up requirements. Alternatively, certifications and continuing education credits issued from outside sources will be honored and counted towards the annual hourly requirements. Finally, members may choose to self study from the resource materiel provided and complete the required coursework . Required coursework may include, but is not limited to an essay or oral report on the subject matter, along with a case study including practical applications of what you have learned. The case study can be with a paid or unpaid client, and all names are left out for privacy.
